Interview with Helen, the Contract Manufacturing Coordinator at Rain Nutrience
As Contract Manufacturing Coordinator, Helen Dakin is the main point of contact for businesses looking to work with Rain in order to benefit from our expertise and specialist equipment. In this interview, she tells us a bit more about her work.
What is your role at Rain Nutrience?
My role at Rain is Contract Manufacturing Coordinator. This means I deal with all our new business enquiries for power blending and filling, as well as contract packing (co-packing) enquiries. I also spend quite a bit of time seeking out new business opportunities to work with companies who could benefit from our services.
How would you describe working at Rain Nutrience?
Rain is a really exciting company to work for. There’s lots of new product development and innovation happening within the business and the wider industry so there’s always plenty going on. As a company, we’re actively expanding in lots of areas and are always looking at new technologies. The team at Rain are all so friendly and helpful and there’s always a great atmosphere in the offices.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
Outside of work, I love being in my small garden growing vegetables and dahlias. I really enjoy growing things from seed that grows into fantastic veg and I love dahlias for their incredible range of flower types and colours. I also love my cat, Rosie. She is 13 now and getting a bit frail so I like to make sure she gets the best of everything. My partner and I also enjoy investigating new recipes and share time in the kitchen. He is a good cook so, between that and the home-grown veggies, we are never hungry!
