Capsule manufacturing and capsule development

With nearly two decades’ experience in the capsule manufacturing of nutraceuticals, we are justly proud of our reputation for quality and technical expertise. Our modern machinery enables us to offer customers a high degree of flexibility when it comes to the type, colour, and size of capsule to choose from. The types of capsules available include:

Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose – HPMC (100% plant based)
Pullulan (100% plant based)
Hard Gelatin Capsules (100% bovine or 100% marine source)
Delayed Release Capsules (100% plant based)
Titanium Dioxide free (100% plant based)

The capsules we source are suitable for a range of products, including halal, kosher, organic, vegetarian, and vegan.

Just like DIY stores, our capsule suppliers offer a colour matching service, so virtually any colour is possible. For larger volumes, logos or branding can be printed onto capsules.

Manufacturing Capability

With our modern machinery we can produce in excess of 20 million capsules per week, using fully automatic or semi-automatic encapsulators. Typically, we use the following capsule sizes:

Other sizes are available upon request and are subject to a tooling charge. At the end of the encapsulation process all capsules are de-dusted and polished, to ensure the best possible finish.
